We're campaigning to keep ticket offices open. The government's consultation is now running until September, meaning you still have time to have your say.
Modernisation should remove barriers that restrict life choices for disabled people, not create new ones. 🚫
As a disability charity that's been based in the North West for more than 150 years, we believe that these proposals are harmful to elderly and disabled people and contradict government and industry commitments to improve rail access.
Ticket offices are necessary for rail to be accessible for all. While most people now buy tickets on their smartphones, people with disabilities often rely on in-person help when travelling.
We need your help to send as many objection letters to rail companies as possible. Please help us.
How does it work?
Responding is simple. You choose which station you regularly use and we'll make sure your letter gets to the right email. If you opt-in to updates from us, you'll receive information about the campaign as it progresses.
Every response is equal to a consultation response.
